…I’d like to point out how shit SL Benfica actually are these days. They have zero consistency, few prospects and will be lucky to come 3rd in the Portuguese Liga this year. But why? This side were once kings of Europe, albeit a long time ago, boasting household name Eusebio as the frontline of their onslaught. What has happened to reduce them to the miserly team that they are now? I’ve never seen SL Benfica play as badly as they have done these past couple of years and, not being a resident of Portugal, I can only wonder if there’s any chance they will actually emerge from this demise.

Also, you’ve probably not noticed but I’ve put quite a lot of backwork into adding some information to the FAQ section. I’ve added the duration of each competition that we cater for to enable you to view yet more information on this wonderful site of ours! You may notice that I am missing the Uruguayan Primera Division and also the Polish Ekstraklasa. If a native of each country can confirm that start and end of each campaign respectively, it would be much appreciated, despite the turmoil currently existing in both countries.
