FBK Kaunas vs Sevojno – home win at -2.75 handicap. There’s got to be tremendous value here in a handicap victory for Lithuanians FBK Kaunas. After a heated exchange and disagreement in perspectives, the Lithuanian FA demoted FBK Kaunas prior to this season by two divisions. However, they were unable to prevent the entry of FBK Kaunas into European football so they still have a good squad of players. Today they entertain Serbian Prva Liga outfit Sevojno. For those of you who don’t recognise what the Prva Liga is in Serbia, it’s the division below the main league in Serbia. This side entered the cup by losing to Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian Cup after an impressive cup run. However, times have changed since and they’re facing an entirely different squad here in Lithuania. I fully expect a convincing home win here and I’d hammer the handicap all day long here!!
Naftan Novopolotsk vs AA Gent – home win. You guys know how much I love my Naftan Novopolotsk home games, right?! This is considerably riskier than the average Naftan Novopolotsk home game but still worth a gamble because the odds make it worthwhile and AA Gent aren’t that good. A Belgian side was felled in Belarus last season – Anderlecht by BATE Borisov – so why not again? The hosts have proven that their home ground is a fortress and AA Gent will have their work cut out tonight in my opinion!
Brondby vs Flora Tallinn – home win at -2.75 handicap. There’s not a lot of explanation behind this – it’s simply that Brondby are leagues ahead of Flora Tallinn. Flora Tallinn haven’t been as good as expected after poaching Levadia Tallinn’s manager prior to the start of the Meistriliiga this season and are frankly up for a beating here tonight. Brondby have come on leaps and bounds from last season and look like earning themselves in the next round with a convincing home win here.
