Champions League Returns…
Free…with half of the sides participating in it having endured a poor result in their respective leagues at weekend. It’s quite an unusual statement to be able to make, but with draws for Manchester United, Steau Bucharest, Fenerbahce, Chelsea, Liverpool, Barcelona, Olympique de Marseille, Girondins de Bordeaux and Atletico Madrid coupled with defeats for Olympique Lyonnais, Villarreal, Arsenal, Juventus, Werder Bremen and CFR Cluj then we find ourselves sat a little confused by the games ahead, not aided by the fact that some sides have already progressed to the latter stages. Unbelievably, this is not a long-winded way of me saying “Don’t blame me if things go wrong!” but more of a “Be careful when betting!” notice.
