However, whereas I do expect a home win here, the bets you have to look at are Malta +2 and also under 2.5 goals. The reason for this is not only because the Czechs aren’t playing their best football but because coach Frantisek Straka has named a very young and inexperienced squad for this encounter with few recognisable names. Malta aren’t the pushovers they once were, either. Admittedly, they were playing their best football prior to this year but they are a determined squad with a small amount of talent, capable of a surprise or two. I don’t expect them to concede many goals and they’re not particularly lethal in front of goal either! That’s why I fancy under 2.5 goals as a good bet for this game. Either way – be careful with your bet(s)!
