Free…how Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger names someone new as Captain whenever they are supposed to be leaving the year after? I find it quite ironic and rather sickening in the respect that he is one of the best managers in the world, especially at man management, yet he has to resort to such tactics to hope his stars stay? I appreciate Arsenal are not yet in the greatest situation financially, but every football team and football fan knows that if a player is valued sufficiently by the club, they will be awarded the suitable wages required to keep them at the club should transfer rumours arise. I respect Arsenal as adversaries to my club Manchester United – these two sides play the best football in England, but I just can’t respect this farce that Wenger seems to reproduce every year or two.
