I Just Want To Say…
FreeIt was refreshing today to hear that Guus Hiddink will most likely return to solely managing Russia at the end of the English Premier League. Whereas I am a Manchester United fan and I’m more than happy to see yet another cracking manager leave Chelsea, that’s not my reasoning. My reasoning is that it shows a loyalty to the country he’s managing, a loyalty which is somewhat rare these days. Look at Mark Hughes or Lawrie Sanchez or Alex McGleish – they were all doing splendidly with Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland respectively but they merely used their position to put themselves in the shop window and moved on. I think Russia has a good chance of winning an International trophy under his stewardship so it’ll be interesting to see if they actually do or not.
Also, what is with the German Bundesliga today? I don’t like the prospect of backing any of these games with my money!

Most intriguing bet has to be backing 4 of the big sides at home in English League One – Milton Keynes Dons, Scunthorpe United, Oldham Athletic and Peterborough United – you can get 7/1 on this bet at any good bookmaker. I was tempted to include Leicester City in this bet but they’re priced at 1/3 so I don’t really see it as very worthwhile, especially as the English leagues are amongst the most unpredictable in the world in my opinion.
My best tip of the day that involves a tad more risk but a fair bit more money involves you backing Boyaca Chico, Braga, and Barcelona.
