Mirel Radoi

I’m not entirely sure how well any of you know Mirel Radoi, but I can assure you he’s a very good Romanian defender. He’s been playing at Steau Bucharest for a long, long time now but it stunned me today to read that he’d moved on. Well, perhaps not so much the fact that he moved, but more the fact that he’s moved to Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia! Granted, the wages out there will be immaculate but at the peak of this career? Interestingly, the Steau legend will meet up with former manager Cosmin Olaroiu so it’ll be interesting to see how that develops. I suspect Steau are going to struggle without him for a while, so it’s certainly worth noting this transfer from a betting perspective before you dismiss it!
