Well, Montpellier HSC, desipte their good league position, are one of the weakest sides at home in the top six of the division. Their tendency is to draw their home games when they don’t win them, as they’ve only lost the one game at home this season. Lens, on the other hand, have the best record in the division when it comes to away games having won just short of half of them and only losing three. This already enables this game to be an intriguing encounter, but that intrigue is extended further when you realise that the hosts average nearly 2 goals a game and the visitors average something around 1.2 goals per game. I think it’s a fair assessment to make that there will be goals in this game. However, I just can’t see a winner here. Neither side are in great form with Lens only able to boast one win in five games and Montpellier HSC only able to boast two wins in five games. Both sides will find these three points very useful. However, I think those sought-after three points will be evasive tonight for both clubs; my call is a draw, something in the region of 2-2.
