A UEFA Europa League place remains in the offering for hosts NSI Runavik and with EB/Streymur hosting title challengers IF Fuglafjordur today, they know that the window of opportunity is there for them to seize. NSI bring plenty of momentum into this game too, which helps. Only a very determined AB Argir have avoided defeat against NSI in their last four league games with IF Fuglafjordur, EB/Streymur, and bitter rivals Vikingur Gotu amongst the sides that have lost against NSI. The combination of Magnus Olsen and Arni Frederiksberg allows Klamint Olsen the opportunities that he needs to score goals. NSI have a good future ahead of them whilst those three remain at the club, in my view – they’re good players.
Visitors KI Klaksvik aren’t a bad side themselves, to be fair. They’re a very good goalscoring side but they concede so many goals that they’ve been dropped into a relegation battle this season, which is baffling when you consider that they’ve got promising Christiansen and international attacking duo Elttor and Klettskard, both of which are very dangerous. However, this side cannot gather any momentum due to perpetually conceding a lot of goals, which is precisely why they’ve lost their last five away games in a row. KI will continue to attack to try and score goals here because that’s all that they’re good at. However, they’re not doing anything right at the moment and I feel that a good and in-form NSI side should beat them today.
For me, the home win is worth taking at 4/5.
