Portugal? Who on earth are they?!
FreeIt’s always good to see the Internationals turn out as planned! Well, mostly anyway! Let-down of the night award has to go to Portugal for failing to beat an Albania side with few known names in Portugal whilst playing against 10 men for the entire second half. Knowing the impatience of the Europeans – I wonder how many calls there will be for Queiroz’s head after only having won 1 of their first 4 competitive matches? The win itself was only against Malta.
Game of the night probably has to go to Trinidad & Tobago for recording a historic victory at home to USA winning 2-1. What better way to mark a historic occasion for the country than for Dwight Yorke to score the winner also?
In other news, I’m now removing my tags of each prediction and simply leaving a confidence rating on how likely I think it is to happen, obviously with 10 being the highest and 1 being the lowest.
