Premier League 20/21 betting tips from Chile to Canada

It doesn’t matter where you are in the world – the English Premier League is still the most followed and the most competitive league you will find. This is seen by the sheer number of fans all over the globe, the viewing statistics, and even the betting activity on the Premier League. Punters wager on this league from the southern point of Chile to the true north of Canada where there’s been quite a boom in online sports betting in recent years. Of course, if you are looking for football betting tips, it is likely that you are familiar with making online bets in the first place.

So on that note, we are delighted to share with you some of the main English Premier League tips that we have come up with as we now enter the second half of the season. We’ve covered tips for the ultimate winner, the top scorer, and the team that could get relegated too. Note that these tips are designed to be ‘value bets’, meaning that they won’t be the most obvious, but the potential return is better!

Winner – Manchester United

Over the last few weeks, Manchester United has been showing serious signs that they could compete for the title. And more amazingly – the bookies don’t seem to have picked up on how strong United’s chances are (yet). At the time of writing, and following Liverpool’s surprise defeat at Southampton, Manchester United now has a chance to get to the top of the table. They have 33 points, just like Liverpool, but with a game in hand, they are in a prime position to take a commanding lead over the rest of the pack. This is quite a pivotal moment for Manchester United, and as we all know, they have not been the same force since the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson resigned a few years ago.

But with players like Rashford and Bruno Fernandes now starting to show the kind of form that United fans have been hoping for, now could be a fantastic time to back them to win the Premier League. The odds are higher than other favourites such as Liverpool and Manchester City as well, which makes this bet particularly appealing.

Top scorer – Son Heung-Min

Regardless of what team you support and what players you favour, everybody enjoys it when an individual starts to score goes at will. And this translates perfectly for outright betting on the Premier League, as you can already back which player you think might hit the back of the net the most times when that final whistle is blown. This is always a competitive betting market, and although Mo Salah may currently be at the top of the leaderboard, we have a feeling that Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min could easily end up with the most goals this season. There are a few reasons why we believe this to be the case.

Firstly, the guy is scoring at a rate of more than 50% compared to his shots taken, which is seriously impressive. Secondly, his shot accuracy is higher than 80%, which means that there is a great chance that his goal tally will continue to increase. Thirdly, he’s under the guidance of Mourinho, who knows a thing or two about winning games and utilizing his best players! When you add all of this up, Son Heung-Min could absolutely finish with the most goals if he stays injury-free.

To be relegated – Fulham

As exciting as it can be to watch teams battle it out for the English Premier League crown, there can also be some highly entertaining battles for teams to stay up. To go hand-in-hand with this excitement, there can also be plenty of value bets to make concerning which team may get relegated. Currently, we believe that Fulham is one of the best value bets you can make for the relegation market, especially after looking at the team’s statistics. Fulham doesn’t seem to be able to score a bunch of goals, and they are certainly struggling to stop their opponents from scoring against them. Of course, this doesn’t bode all that well for staying in the Premier League.

Sure, they have a few games in hand to try and climb out of the relegation zone, but we just can’t see them surviving the drop once the season comes to a close. Since the odds are pretty decent for Fulham to get relegated, we would definitely take this wager over betting on other teams like West Brom or Sheffield United.

Conclusion

All of these outright bets are currently available at all of the leading online bookmakers, but if you want to get the best odds, don’t wait to place your bets. If you like the market and you agree that the odds look appealing, get that wager placed! You might be able to cash-out your wager too if you get the bet placed early enough.
