SV Ried vs Salzburg

Zadar vs Cibalia – home win. There’s not much between these two sides but if last season’s Prva Liga taught us anything then it’s that Zadar only won at home and Cibalia are atrocious away. It’s a bit of a gamble to think that this pattern will continue but there’s certainly more reasons to believe it than to oppose it. I’d recommend a home win but approach with caution and keep punts low.
Jaro Pietarsaari vs Inter Turku – home win, draw no bet. This is a really interesting game. Jaro Pietarsaari are a side that I personally consider to be better than reigning champions Inter Turku but league placings don’t always indicate such things. However, the visitors have made a rather unimpressive start to this season, no doubt partially due to their committments in Europe. With a travel-weary squad that are misfiring in the Veikkausliiga, you have to favour a home win here for Jaro Pietarsaari, a side that definitely know how to obtain a home win. Inter Turku didn’t win the league last season for no reason however so I would consider draw no bet but will leave the decision up to you.
Kashima Antlers vs Kashiwa Reysol – home win, -1.75 goals handicap. I’m rarely intent on backing a handicap win in Eastern Asia but Kashima Antlers are too good for everyone this season, let alone one of the worst sides in the division, which is certainly what Kashiwa Reysol are. The visitors have an atrocious away record and the hosts have a dominant home record. A handicap here looks tremendous value.
St.Gallen vs Neuchatel Xamax – home win. Newly-promoted St.Gallen host Neuchatel Xamax in their opening game of the season. The hosts not only won the league last season but they won it with style and ease. They proved they’re more than ready for the Super League. Their home record was absolutely phenomenal which is mostly why I’m keen on a home win here. Neuchatel Xamax are one of the weaker sides in the Super League, possibly on a par with St.Gallen but I fancy a home win could be in the offering here so take it at any odds you can find.
