Pretty pissed off today following yesterday’s seemingly fixed win for Slask so the previews are brief as I need to go and let off steam right now. If anyone wants thoughts on specific games then just ask in the comments section and I’ll try to get to them around 12:10 GMT on Thursday. Keep stakes low or not at all, guys – plenty of dubious games today and far too many questionable results.

Coritiba vs Palmeiras – home win at 4/5.
It can’t be long until this becomes a public bet. Coritiba want revenge for their cup final loss recently. They’re a better side than Palmeiras with their attractive attacking football. Coritiba miss a couple of players but they should be able to win this one as they’re capable of outscoring Palmeiras, in my view. Helpfully, Palmeiras miss the vast majority of their squad for this game with no less than ten players confirmed as absent (see full list at the bottom of the page). I don’t like public bets but Coritiba really should win this one and I see some value remaining in the home win at 4/5.
Verdict: Coritiba to win at 4/5.

Levadia Tallinn vs Anorthosis Famagusta – under 2.5 goals at 5/6.
Realistically speaking, this game should easily go under 2.5 goals. Anorthosis are a very defensive side at the moment; they rarely attack without being certain a chance will come of it. Levadia are young and inexperienced right now; they struggled a lot with Siauliai in the last round. Levadia have tremendous problems in scoring goals and Anorthosis excel at defending. Anorthosis rarely score more than a goal per game as they defend any lead that they have. It’s highly likely that this’ll be a 0-0 or a 0-1, in my view, so under 2.5 goals appeals to me a lot at 5/6.
