Today’s secondary featured game is the Scottish Premier League game between Celtic and Dunfermline Athletic.
Celtic are leagues ahead of Dunfermline, which is the predominant motivation behind this bet. There’s not a lot else that I can write aside from that, to be honest. There’s a massive gulf in quality and tactical ability between the two sides and even Celtic operating at 50% should win this one comfortably. Dunfermline work hard and they’re not a side that just defends, either, which is fortunate as they’re pretty awful at it. No, they attack and they do score goals so Dunfermline scoring here wouldn’t be the biggest surprise ever. However, they are woeful at the back due to a horrible lack of quality and their lack of attention in that area of the field really costs them.
My only concern is Celtic’s motivation here. They’ve virtually won the league already following the issues at Rangers but hopefully they’ll remain motivated as to cause further embarassment to their bitter local rivals. If Celtic show up here then they should cruise to a victory though, hence my selection of Celtic beating the -2.5 handicap at 11/10.
