CSCA-Rapid Chisinau vs Sheriff Tiraspol – home win at draw no bet. There’s no great secret about this one, I’m afraid! Sheriff Tiraspol will simply have their eyes elsewhere for this game as they face a tough trip north to Turku in Finland over the coming days for the European Champions League Qualifier game with Inter Turku. After last week’s postponed game with Zimbru Chisinau, Sheriff Tiraspol don’t have any competitive match experience entering this game so their second string could really struggle here. The only thing that stops me from placing this as a convincing home win is the fact that CSCA-Rapid Chisinau really aren’t that good a side. I would feel very happy taking a home win with draw no bet here though!
Dundalk vs Bohemians – home win. The visitors are showing the kind of form that won them the title last season. They’ve won four games from their last five but have their sights set on their trip to face Salzburg in a UEFA European Champions League Qualifier in a few days time. Atypically, I’d give an away win or at least a draw here but Dundalk have been playing quite well this season, all things considered. They’ve won their last three in a row now and could well cause an upset against a pre-occupied Bohemians side.
Bray Wanderers vs Shamrock Rovers – away win. The visitors are showing some really good form entering this game, better form than I persnoally thought they were capable of. After an impressive 2-1 win away to St Patrick’s Athletic, Shamrock Rovers’ assault on the title appears to have some real momentum as well as determination. They’ve only lost once on the road this season from their opening nine away games, with four wins and four draws. Today they travel to Bray Wanderers, a side destined for the division below, it seems. They’re just not getting the wins at home to keep them up currently – they keep drawing or losing. They’ve lost three in a row entering this game and I can’t see them doing anything else but losing a fourth here as Shamrock Rovers steamroller onwards – take an away win at whatever odds you can get!
Tampines Rovers vs DPMM FC – home win. Take home win odds here at whatever you can get! DPMM FC, despite their deceptively good league position, are poor on the road. Fair play, they’re not lost many, but they’re hardly won any. They travel to a Tampines Rovers squad that are absolute dynamite at home with seven wins from nine games. Hopefully the bookies give some credit to DPMM FC and give you some good odds on a home win here because it’s got to be worthwhile to do so!
