FreeIs there anyone that truly believes Juventus or Real Madrid will progress tonight? I can honestly say that I really wish they both would progress but I just can’t see it. The strength of the English Premier League is just so strong in every aspect that other countries simply don’t appear to be able to handle it. Take Liverpool, for example. Prior to their win at the Bernabeu, Liverpool counldn’t buy a win in England and yet they go to the biggest club in Spain who are on a fantastic run of form and somehow Liverpool won 1-0 convincingly. Did you also know that no Italian side has scored a Champions League goal against English opposition for the past 9 games? Bear that in mind when considering your Champions League bets.
Summarised: I sense an English Champions League winner again, and I for one hope it’s my beloved Manchester United!
