FreeThat has to be the easiest question surrounding him in the present climate. Frankly, it seems like his situation with staying in Milan will never end. Neither side is divulging the exact issue but it’s more than apparent to me; the Yanks want to make a lot of money and the Italians don’t have a lot of money. So instead of resolving the situation, they’ve decided to postpone it by letting Beckham stay at AC Milan until the end of the season. I’m not entirely sure why; AC Milan aren’t going to gain any more money by the end of the season because they’re not going to win anything! So my warning to you all is expect more of the same of this bullshit come June/July. If only the Yanks knew something about football – they would surely let him go and play in a good side!
In the spirit of the good Anglo-French relations, I’ve decided to point out a fact for you ahead of tonight’s games! Did you know…Olympique Lyonnais are the only side entering this round of Champions League fixtures to have lost in their domestic league at weekend. They lost a tricky away match to boring but efficient LOSC Lille. No hard feelings, Olympique Lyonnais, but you’re going out of Europe tonight because you’re basically a shit team with two good players and one exceptional player.
