French Ligue 2

Are we really any closer to figuring out the French Ligue 2? I mean, the last few weeks have been so unpredictable that if you’ve tried putting big bets on this league, you’re bound to have suffered. I’m not sure what’s going on there, to be honest, but I do hope it’s rectified soon. There’s 3 home games in that league I like a lot, which is concerning really because of the strange level of unpredictability of late. It may even be worthwhile to bet against all of them in light of recent events! Still, good luck to you all and we’ll continue persevering in our tenacious manner to attempt to fathom this strange league beyond the sea!

Also, a huge congratulations to Athletic Club de Bilbao for reaching their first Copa del Rey final for a long, long time. It will mean the world to them and their fans, especially the fact that they’re facing Barcelona in the final as the two sides have won it more than any other side has. Barcelona, interestingly enough, edge the amount won by 1 – this could be a very interesting final indeed! I couldn’t be happier about this and wish them the best – the most Spanish side in Spain in the final of a Spanish competition – it was made for Bilbao to win this game!

Lastly, is it just me weird ways or does anyone else think that Dimitar Berbatov would make a fantastic James Bond?! His arrogant manner and ability when required matches that of James Bond. plus I could imagine him drinking the martini and smoking the cigarette. Maybe I’ve just landed on another world, I don’t know, but it really would fit!

My tips:

As usual, there’s quite a lot of good games to bet on, some good value in these games. I fancy a couple of bets tonight. My main bet would be Aberystwyth, Standard de Liege and Maritimo. Another bet to consider would be Bohemians, Vaslui and Rapid Bucharest. However, if you really want to push the boat out and delve into the strange lower leagues of France and Holland, then I’d look at an accumulator containing Stade de Reims, Metz, Strasbourg, MVV Maastricht, Cambuur Leeuwarden and VVV Venlo.
