He’s just made a quiet move to Wigan Athletic, joining the growing horde of hispanic footballers playing their football at the JJB Stadium. The more notorious names currently at Wigan would be Ecuador’s Antonio Valencia and Honduras’ Wilson Palacios. Hugo Rodallega is a Colombian striker, 21 years of age with the potential to be something massive. He’s strong, fast, good with his feet and a good finisher. Not only will he have compatriots to make him feel at home, but he’s got a great manager looking after him as well. I can see a big future for this guy – watch this space!
