FreeNo, I am not going to be covering it, don’t worry! However, the title is relevant to an observation I’ve made lately – Kazakh football is getting a lot better these days! I don’t know whether it’s just a form of footballing evolution, Brazilian influence or just foreigners influencing in general, but both the Kazakh national side and their club sides are getting stronger and becoming harder to beat. In fact, over the past week, it has been stated that former Russian international midfielders Yegor Titov and Andrei Tikhonov have moved to Kazakh club FC Lokomotiv Astana, which is a fascinating move to a loser like me! It really signals their intent and I expect you may just see more of Kazakh sides over the coming years.
