Today’s secondary featured game is the Superettan clash between Landskrona BoIS and Ljungskile.
Over the years, Landskrona have been one of the more notable over 2.5 goals sides due to their inability to defend and their inconsistency, ranging from a talented attacking side to an unfamiliar bunch of nobodies. Still, you won’t find many more entertaining sides than Henrik Larsson’s Landskrona BoIS! Well, perhaps not always in the way that he’d like but still. Four out of Landskrona’s last five games have gone over 2.5 goals and with Olsson in top form, I would imagine that we’ll see more of the same today.
Ljungskile themselves are becoming a goals galore kind of side, which is especially interesting as they were the polar opposite a few years ago. Now we have Mikaelsson, Genalvo, Bruno Santos, and Pavey threatening in Ljungskile attacks and they look bette for it. Naturally, abandoning their usual defensive shape has led to them shipping more goals – they’ve only kept two clean sheets this season – but they’ve truly embraced their new style of late, going over 2.5 goals in four out of their last give games and impressively exiting that run without defeat. Ljungskile will give as good as they get and I fancy them to cause Landskrona a few problems today.
Still, Landskrona are the better side for my money and although I tend to rate them more on the road than I do on their own turf, I still think we’re in for plenty of goals here so taking over 2.5 goals looks intriguing at 4/5.
Verdict: Over 2.5 goals at 4/5.
