Only one game appeals to me today and that’s in the members section I’m afraid, guys and girls. However, I would like to take this opportunity to pay my respects to FC Utrecht left-back Nesu. For those of you who don’t know, the Romanian defender has been told he’ll never play football again. I don’t know the exact circumstances – perhaps some of our Dutch viewers can assist? – but apparently he’s been virtually paralysed and currently can’t even feel his arms and legs. He’s in his mid-twenties so it’s a real shame to cut short such a promising career so my respect goes out to him.
