Today’s secondary featured game is the Veikkausliiga game between MyPa Anjalankoski and Inter Turku.

I feel bad for MyPa, really. Five games without a goal looks awfully condemning but they’ve not deserved to lose any of those games, in my view. Yeah, MyPa’s high defensive line isn’t ideal but their attacking has come on leaps and bounds and they’re causing problems for every side that they face. Their sole problem is converting their chances and it’s spreading throughout their team, too. They’re not a vastly experienced side so runs like these are hard for them to handle. However, you get the impression that when one of them scores, the rest will follow. Despite their unfortunate run, MyPa heads haven’t dropped at all and I admire that. There’s a great spirit in this camp and I fancy them to bounce back at some point in the near future with all the chances that they’re creating so why not today?

Inter Turku are the better side, sure. You wouldn’t know it from their poor recent displays, however. They only partially showed up for the second-half of their game against VPS Vaasa and even then were a shade fortuitous to equalise. VPS didn’t have to do anything extraordinary to stop Inter Turku. Jaro perhaps rode their luck in defence against Inter Turku but they played very convincingly and earned their point. Inter Turku are too easy to play against when they don’t have confidence, basically. Lehtonen, Sirbiladze, Ojala, Kauko – they’re all attacking threats on their day, especially Ojala. However, they’re not playing well and they look bereft of confidence. I still can’t shake the image from my head of some Inter Turku players actually lying down on the pitch in despair after drawing 1-1 with Jaro in Turku. They’re facing a very spirited and underestimated host here so I think they’re in for a tough game.

Inter are better than MyPa but MyPa are playing better football with greater spirit right now. For me, taking MyPa to win this one with draw no bet looks awfully long at 7/4 when you observe the recent displays of both sides and thus I see value in the selection.

Verdict: MyPa Anjalankoski to win with draw no bet at 7/4. Why not bet on this game now at William Hill?
