Ok guys, thanks very much for the support with the Bet365 link and banner clicking – it’s really good of you all! If you could please continue to do this whenever you remember then it’d be greatly appreciated, especially if placing bets at that time. Thank you!

First of all – apologies for the short notice but I will be covering the Toulon Tournament 2011 in the members area for anyone who is interested.

Secondly – check out my friend Jarkko’s work here as he’s a good tipster who knows what he’s talking about. He specialises in all levels of Finnish football, which may benefit some of you who like to delve into the Kakkonen every now and then, which is a league I don’t cover nowadays.

Today’s secondary featured game is the UEFA European U21 Championship Qualifier between San Marino U21 and Bosnia-Herzegovina U21.

Is there anything I can really write about San Marino U21? I like to think I have broad knowledge on the footballing circuit but the San Marinese are not a bunch I know a great deal about, primarily because their football on every level is extremely low-key and pretty poor, if we’re honest!

The most important statistic that relates to this game from their perspective is that San Marino U21 have failed to score a competitive goal since their 3-0 win against Armenia U21 in 2006. That means they’ve not scored a goal for eighteen consecutive games now. Their last home game resulted in a 0-3 defeat against Northern Ireland U21, whom I rate about on a par with Bosnia-Herzegovina U21, so a similar scoreline is quite possible here, in my view. Either way – I just don’t see the hosts scoring here.

Bosnia-Herzegovina have only really emerged over the past few years on each level of football internationally but they have emerged with some good players. Most of their players still ply their trade in the Premijer Liga but some of the more talented players have already made it abroad. The most talented of those who play abroad is Bilbija, for me. He’s had a pretty good campaign with Vojvodina Novi Sad in Serbia and has contributed to their attacks from various angles, both with goals, assists, and even movement. Additionally, we have Spartak Nal’chik midfield regular Zahirovic (who has looked solid this season), Otelul Galati defender Sipovic, Istra 1961 midfielder Susic (who has also had a good campaign this season), Varteks Varazdin regular defender Kvesic (another one who has had a good campaign), and another Vojvodina Novi Sad regular – Stevanovic – who has had a very good campaign and has even scored four goals. These players all make Bosnia-Herzegovina a solid side in defence and midfield so I’d be surprised to see them concede here.

In attack, Bosnia-Herzegovina look a bit lightweight with Mujic, Pehar, and Bekic so Bilbija will have to work hard if Bosnia-Herzegovina are to win heavily here. Bekic has been the more impressive of the three strikers, in my view, but none of them are particularly impressive. For me, this has a 0-1 or 0-2 Bosnia-Herzegovina win all over it but odds of 13/20 on either side not to score looks very good value to me today.

Verdict: Either side not to score at 13/20.
