Some recent statistics

As you know, we don’t post our statistics because it creates expectation, and expectations lead to disappointment.

Statistics can be helpful, but for new folk to the site to judge our work based on them alone is rather unfair on The Footy Tipster as a whole because we help members out in numerous different ways in the Members Section, and those ways cannot be measured on statistics (Team News, betting critique, etc).

However, one of our long-term members has gone to the trouble of logging the below statistics, and working out profit levels. Ian and Toby have discussed this with the poster in question, and decided to share his work with you all for those of you that perhaps want that bit more convincing that our service is the best and most complete around, or possibly even those of you which crave direction as to the best way to approach our tips!

I am waiting to hear if the person who shared this is happy to have their name mentioned, if so I will update this post with full credit

Howdy guys.

I’ve been carefully tracking since August 1st all the “featured games” picks posted by Ian. That, if the name makes sense, should be the most confident bet of the day.

I think that the patterns are pretty interesting and can give to all members a good view about their quality.

Until yesterday we had exactly 100 picks, with 54W – 30L – 16V ( V stands for void of course ).

Betting at flat stake at the odds posted by Ian it gives an overall profit of + 24.10 units. Do your own maths according to your staking size. Even with a tiny £10 per bet it returned a profit of £241, so well worth the monthly fee.

With a starting betting bank of £1000, not a huge one indeed, and betting daily 5% of it on the featured game, and updating daily the amount of the 5% according to the new bank, £1000 would have become £2987.85 as of yesterday, with a peak of £3288.78 on November 2nd. Pretty damn good.

On a monthly basis these have been the results in units, flat stakes ( November is still running of course ) :

August 2016 * 16W – 7L – 5V * P/L + 9.37
September 2016 * 14W – 12L – 3V * P/L + 3.03
October 2016 * 18W – 5 L – 5V * P/L + 12.11
November 2016 * 6W – 6L – 3V * P/L – 0.41

What about the different betting markets ?

Here they are :

1X2 * 15W – 12L * P/L + 2.29
OVER * 11W – 4L – 1V * P/L + 6.83
UNDER * 2W * P/L + 1.80
DNB * 2W – 5L – 4V * P/L – 3.00
BTTS * 1W – 1L * P/L – 0.20
TEAM TOTAL GOALS * 3W – 1L * P/L + 3.33
ASIAN HANDICAP * 18W – 7L – 11V * P/L + 12.27
DOUBLE CHANCE * 2W * P/L + 1.78

Over and Asian Handicap picks are the ones that have delivered the most, Under, Double Chance and Team Totals also have a strong win rate, Draw no Bet is the worst.

And what about finally each league/competition ?

Africa WC Qualifications * 1W – 1L * P/L + 0.15

Champions League, Croatia Prva Liga and Switzerland Super League have been the most lucrative ones.
Europa League, Israel Ligat Ha’al and Switzerland Challenge League the losers podium.

All always referred to the Featured Game only.

I hope this helps the members somehow. Ian will surely have all these stats too, but maybe he can also have some hints or tips from this analysis. I don’t envy anyway the hard task to chose a Featured Game among the many options, mostly on weekends..

Great work anyway with the featured game so far, hat off :-)
