Howdy guys and girls!

As ever, approach each tip with caution and intelligence. Every tip has the potential to win or to lose; it depends how the team plays. My advice would always be to watch the games (where possible) and bet in-play because you’ve got an idea of what should happen in the game (based on the preview) and you can judge if things are going the way that they should or not. In-play betting is a very valuable tool that is not to be overlooked! If you have any questions then feel free to ask.

Bankers

I’d be surprised if they all win as betting isn’t that simple but these are the bets that really should come in. You know it’s a weird day when the majority of them don’t come in!

Be very wary with this type of bet today, incidentally. There are an awful lot of sides placed at short odds that really shouldn’t be, in my view. The three below are the only ones that I feel very confident with.

Valletta vs La Fiorita – home win at 1/10.

The best side in Malta entertaining an average side by San Marinese standards? Home win all day long. The scoreline depends on the side that Valletta field (and they do have a huge squad) but I’ll be pretty staggered if they don’t win it.

Verdict: Valletta to win at 1/10.

Zrinsjki Mostar vs UE Santa Coloma – home win at 1/20.

Bosnian sides are very strong at home and Zrinjski are no exception with bags of experience. Andorran sides never travel well and have no “Plan B” after falling behind. It could take a while but Zrinjski should take the lead and from there I do expect them to win the game so this should be a home win all day long.

Verdict: Zrinjski Mostar to win at 1/20.

Rosenborg BK vs Crusaders – home win at 3/25.

I didn’t touch Rosenborg for the away leg because I rate Northern Irish sides very highly when it comes to battling like troopers, especially at home. So it proved to be, too – Rosenborg didn’t have things all their own way in that game. At Lerkendal, though, they really should be able to make it count. Rosenborg are not the side of old; they are missing experience in their ranks for the most part. What they do have is youth and pace nowadays, though, so as long as they convert their chances then little Crusaders are going to get torn to shreds via convential methods or via Rosenborg counter-attacks. One way or another, I expect Rosenborg to triumph today.

Verdict: Roseborg BK to win at 3/25.

Featured game

Levadia Tallinn vs Bala Town – under 2.5 goals at 10/11.

Today’s featured game is the UEFA Europa League game in Estonia between Levadia Tallinn and Wales’ Bala Town.

The first leg of this tie ended 1-0 to the Welsh minnows, which seemed to surprise a lot of people. I won’t say that I expected a Bala Town win but what I will say is that Levadia are nothing on the side that they used to be. You have to bear in mind that Levadia have lost almost all of their experienced players due to financial issues so they’re essentially a bunch of inexperienced youngsters. They work hard and they’ve developed a very good understanding this season, far better than I’d anticipated, to be honest. However, the fact is that they’re only a decent Meistriliiga side nowadays; they’re not a side that is equipped to take on Debreceni VSC of Hungary as they did a few years ago, for example. Levadia are a close-knit bunch and they aren’t easy to score against but goalscoring isn’t their forté and with average Hunt leading their line, it’s not a surprise that they’re struggling to convert their chances on a regular basis. The odds on Levadia winning this game are a joke, to be honest. They should be able to make it count against an average Welsh side but they’re not good enough at goalscoring to merit such ridiculously short odds.

For me, this is another under 2.5 goals game and I’d advise none of you to take on the 1×2 market!

Verdict: Under 2.5 goals at 10/11.

Additional game

IFK Mariehamn vs Inter Baku – away win with draw no bet at 5/4.

The odds are rising on the away win and I’m not really sure why. I appreciate how hard it is for away sides to play in Aland and how far Inter Baku have had to travel for the game but has anyone taken into consideration all of the players that IFK Mariehamn actually miss for this game? Playmaker Forsell is still out, as is winger Okodugha. On top of that, star striker Orgill and new star midfielder Assis both picked up injuries in Azerbaijan and have been ruled out for the rest of the Finnish season. IFK Mariehamn literally do not have anyone left to score goals and that showed against lowly Jaro lately. They’re still a strong side that are well-organised etc. but they’re going to need a lot of assistance to actually score in this game and I’m not sure that Inter Baku will feel too charitable following their game in Azerbaijan. The Azeri side aren’t prolific as it is but they’re very much a side that can score and sit on it, which is precisely what I expect from them today. Unless they completely bottle it or the travel gets to them, I can’t realistically entertain the idea of Inter Baku losing this game because they’re a better side with more experience playing against a horribly under-strength IFK Mariehamn side. In my eyes, the value has to be on Inter Baku winning this game with draw no bet cover at 5/4.

Verdict: Inter Baku to win with draw no bet at 5/4.
