Today’s free tip is in the UEFA Europa League game in the Arctic Circle between Norwegian side Tromso and Azerbaijan’s Inter Baku. Both sides managed to progress through the last round without playing very well and I do feel that is going to set the precedent for today’s football.

Playing in Tromso is very, very hard, even for Norwegian sides. Actually getting up there is an achievement and then taking on the artificial turf at the Alfheim is another battle entirely. Tromso are notorious for being a big, strong, and well-organised side – very Norwegian indeed. They’re not a prolific side, though. They’ve not really had innovation in their ranks for some time, either – they just don’t have a use for it with their long ball game. It’s hardly surprising that they’ve had strikers such as Arst and Rushfeldt over the years, really – they’re the same type of striker; big, strong, and superb in the air. Tromso play very basic football and always have done. If you can stop them from doing that then you won’t lose against them.

Easier said than done, though. Azeri sides are used to much warmer climates so this’ll be one interesting game for Inter Baku. They got dealt a helping hand against IFK Mariehamn in the last round with almost all of IFK’s good attacking players having been ruled out through injury. I still think that Inter did what they had to well enough to progress overall but this is a very different game. Much like their hosts, Inter tend to play in under 2.5 goals games and I think that we’ll see them do that just here. Grinding out a low-scoring draw sets them up perfectly for the home tie and I think that they’d snatch your hand off if they were offered it now. Norwegian football is technically at a higher level than Azeri football is but I’d make a case for Azeri football being more entertaining in terms of the passing games that are played. I think that Tromso are priced too short to win this game, to be frank. I think that their opponents will give them an interesting game here.

I can’t really advise you to take anything on the 1×2 front but I find it hard to work out a scenario that allows this one to go over 2.5 goals so my call is under 2.5 goals at 4/5.

Verdict: Under 2.5 goals at 4/5.

Alphaman Bets offers low risk, managed staked football selections with a proven track record currently standing at 107% profit since inception. Strike rate is high, over 85% and risk is mitigated by using Asian Handicaps and Alternative Goal Lines so when bets go wrong we often have stake returned rather than losing. This is key to developing this long term account building service. We place accumulators that usually return about 2.0 and other selected singles and doubles when the value is available. We also offer an in play service which has returned £2495 to £100 level stakes this season with 64 winners from 89 bets all managed with low risk so why not try us out today?
