Yesterday Was Strange…
Free…wasn’t it? There appeared to be far more games than normal straying from sanity. The more notable slip-ups actually came from the bigger sides hosting the smaller sides. That said, one side that didn’t struggle at home was Fenerbahce. Playing in their local derby last match must mean the earth to those players because losing it inspired them to absolutely annihlate the side that next entered their line of fire – Hacettepe. Hacettepe were drubbed 7-0 by a rampant Fenerbahce, 5 of which were scored prior to half-time. That has to be arguably the best bouncing back from a defeat there has ever been!
Anyway, I have an announcement to make! From today onwards, all South American tips will be gone! I’ve had enough! Fuck you all!

All the South American games have now been moved there for my own convenience without putting you out. As you will soon be able to clearly see, the link is visible at the top of the page you are currently viewing, and always will be. That is, of course, when it’s fully operational. It is being updated with the games, but there’s a hell of a lot of work to be done to it yet. The benefits of this “two sites” malarkey are simple: I can focus my news and tips on this site for European games and vice versa for the South American games. International games will still be on this site although games involving South American sides will also be posted on the other site. Needless to say that Sundayn is the last day that South American leagues will be covered on this site. Be warned, also – it’s unlikely this’ll be the last “sister-site” to emerge from The Footy Tipster!
Anyway, hopefully this pleases you as much as it does me and you’ll send me love to thefootytipster@gmail.com! However, I find this prospect unlikely and frankly outlandish so simply abuse my bounty of knowledge and win some money instead!
As a side-note, game of the day has to be between AFC Ajax Amsterdam and Feyenoord Rotterdam. These are two of Dutch football’s giants and they meet at the Amsterdam arena, both in horrendous form and with a lot to prove. It should be a very interesting encounter!
