Boca are slaughtering everyone in Argentina right now and this game should be no exception. They’re not playing scintillating football; they’re simply taking their chances and frustrating opponents. When a side of Boca’s calibre does that to you in Argentina, you tend to lose as they have more quality than most of their contemporaries, if not all of them. Boca have become very solid at the back under Falconi and although it’s not the Boca we all know and love, they are rapidly becoming a side to make a lot of money on due to their consistency. For me, there’s a lot of value in the Boca war machine winning this one without conceding at 7/5 against their newly-promoted opponents.

Santos vs Gremio – home win at 11/10.
Eh? 11/10 on anyone beating Gremio at home is a bargain in my eyes. Ok, so there#s no Neymar or Crystian due to suspension but Santos have more than enough attacking power to score goals here and if you score goals at home against Gremio then you beat them, basically. I have zero faith in Santos’ defence but they shouldn’t need to defend here, to be honest. For me, there’s value in Santos winning this one as all they need to do is score, in my view, and that’s simply what they do best.
Verdict: Santos to win at 11/10.
07 Vestur Sorvagur vs B68 Toftir – home win at 7/5.
If the hosts are too avoid the dreaded drop from the Meistaradeildin then they must win this game; there is no alternative. They still have to win next week too to have a chance but if they don’t win here then it’s game over. They’ve played well at home this season, 07 Vestur Sorvagur, and they do score goals. For me, they’ve got enough to do damage against a weak B68 Toftir side today and the odds are surprisingly generous, all things considered.
Verdict: 07 Vestur Sorvagur to win at 7/5.
